Below is information about the positions available this season:

Security Staff

Security staff members are responsible for monitoring crowds and secured areas, while at the same time providing exceptional customer service, in order to provide a safe environment for our guests.  Applicants with security experience are preferred.  State Farm Center employees must be at least 18 years of age and cannot be enrolled in High School and cannot be full-time employees of the University of Illinois.  Starting pay rate for this position is $13.50 per hour.

Security Application

Emergency Medical Staff

Staff members are responsible for providing emergency medical care during events at State Farm Center.  Requirements for this position are as follows: ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds; currently employed in an EMS system or Emergency Department, current certification in BLS and CPR, current EMT/EMT-I/EMT-P licensure.  (Current ACLS card needed for Advanced providers)   State Farm Center employees must be at least 18 year of age and cannot be enrolled in High School and cannot be full-time employees of the University of Illinois.  Starting pay rates range from $13 to $16 per hour depending on level of license.

EMS Application

Parking Staff

Parking staff members are responsible for collecting parking fees and monitoring parking lots, while at the same time providing exceptional customer service, at State Farm Center events.  Applicants with cash handling experience are preferred.  State Farm Center employees must be at least 18 year of age and cannot be enrolled in High School and cannot be full-time employees of the University of Illinois.  Starting pay rate for this position is $14 per hour.

Parking Application

Event Staff

The Event Staff team is responsible for a wide variety of roles to enhance the guest experience, including greeting guests, scanning tickets, directing guests to seating areas and facility amenities, serving as ushers inside of the arena, and staffing the Illinois Premium Seating club spaces and seating areas within State Farm Center. State Farm Center employees must be at least 18 year of age and cannot be enrolled in High School and cannot be full-time employees of the University of Illinois.  Starting pay rate for this position is $12 per hour.

Food & Beverage Staff

The Food & Beverage team is responsible for a wide variety of roles to enhance the food & beverage experience for the guest, including cashiering, bartending, culinary prep, serving, supervising food & beverage areas throughout the facility and staffing the Illinois Premium Seating club spaces. Food & Beverage employees must be at least 18 years of age. Starting pay rate ranges from $10 to $18 per hour depending on role.
